Short History of Danco Tapes

In 1962 West Aucklanders Colin Crump and Dan Kenny started a tape manufacturing company called Danco N.Z. Ltd. Over the years Danco was bought by Trigon Packaging which in turn was sold to Sealed Air (New Zealand) Ltd in 1995.

In March 2021 Sealed Air (New Zealand) Ltd sold the tape division(Danco) to Charlie Kilvington. Previously Charlie had been employed by Danco and eventually left to pursue his own business aspirations.

Danco is again NZ owned and operated with a focus on supporting the commercial, manufacturing, engineering and construction sectors in NZ.
